William Robbie is the most famous of the Aberdeenshire Horse Painters.

The watercolour is housed in an primitive hand carved Scottish Frame with a main theme of hearts, the frame measures 84cm x 71cm.

The frame in all likliehood pre dates the watercolour (c 1930) and may be Victorian.

The watercolour is in an good and whole condition showing a little age wear with a frame which is in very good condition for the age.

A nice combination of a naive watercolour and naive folk art hand carved frame.
